The companies that deploy agents issue their identity. Each agent gets an Identity Kit of three signed documents, covering who it is, how it works, and what it may do, anchored in a public registry and revocable at any time.
Three signed documents
An agent gets what an employee gets on day one: a defined role, an understanding of how the company operates, and authority in writing.
Constitution
The corporate authorization the agent operates under. The company's word, in writing and signed.
Soul
How the agent works, and how it speaks and acts for the company.
Passport
What the agent is permitted to do. It carries the agent's public permission keys.
Issued, then anchored
Identity is issued on the Agent Platform and held on enterprise infrastructure. Every agent is registered in a public registry, so the record outlives any single conversation and can be revoked at any time.

The company sets what the agent is for and how it should act on its behalf.

Each identity is registered on a public blockchain registry, ERC-8004 on Base mainnet. Anyone can check the registration against the chain itself. This is the one thing about an agent an outside party can independently check today.
