Applied Identities
Agent Identity

Identity for agents, issued by the companies they work for.

The companies that deploy agents issue their identity. Each agent gets an Identity Kit of three signed documents, covering who it is, how it works, and what it may do, anchored in a public registry and revocable at any time.

The Identity Kit

Three signed documents

An agent gets what an employee gets on day one: a defined role, an understanding of how the company operates, and authority in writing.

Document 1

Constitution

The corporate authorization the agent operates under. The company's word, in writing and signed.

Document 2

Soul

How the agent works, and how it speaks and acts for the company.

Document 3

Passport

What the agent is permitted to do. It carries the agent's public permission keys.

How issuance works

Issued, then anchored

Identity is issued on the Agent Platform and held on enterprise infrastructure. Every agent is registered in a public registry, so the record outlives any single conversation and can be revoked at any time.

Step 1

Define the role

The company sets what the agent is for and how it should act on its behalf.

Step 2

Issue the documents

Constitution, Soul, and Passport are signed and chained, each issued by the one above it.

Step 3

Anchor the identity

The agent is registered in a public registry, readable by anyone, tied to keys that can be revoked.

Identity issued by the company, anchored in a public registry, built for the independent issuers now emerging.

  1. Ring 1

    The organization's word, signed Live

Real governance documents, the Constitution, Soul, and Passport, issued on enterprise infrastructure and cryptographically chained. Fully claimable today.

  2. Ring 2

    The public anchor Live

Each identity is registered on a public blockchain registry, ERC-8004 on Base mainnet. Anyone can check the registration against the chain itself. This is the one thing about an agent an outside party can independently check today.

  3. Ring 3

    Independent issuers Roadmap

Verifiable-credential trust registries and financial-institution issuers, the pattern Mastercard has published for agent permissioning. This layer is on our roadmap.

our credentials verify unmodified under Mastercard's reference implementation, enforced in CI.

The public record of governed agents

Applied Identities runs its own agents under this identity today. This is that record, our production estate, not a customer list.

Verification, shown working

Every record verifies its own chain of authority live. The chain resolves link by link: Constitution, Soul, Passport, credential.

On-chain anchor

Independently checkable. Each agent's identity is a token in a public ERC-8004 registry on Base mainnet.
